Stepping Into The Era of Default AI
P2S explores how AI has transformed the startup landscape by 2025, what it takes to build a successful AI startup today, and what role pre-seed investors play in shaping the technology of tomorrow.
Do you feel like the perception of AI has changed? It is no longer a unique selling proposition, but a baseline expectation for any new startup. Just as mobile compatibility and cloud infrastructure became standard over the past decade, so is AI integration; it’s not whether you use AI, but how well you leverage it that defines your edge.

Let’s look three years back
AI implementation dynamics are not even.
🔸Getting back to 2022, the world gets crazy about chatbots, revolutionising customer service. AI also found fertile soil in marketing, fraud detection, and HR. However, AI was mostly perceived as an enhancer of human workflows, rather than a substitute.
🔸 2023 is the rise of Generative AI, boosting the emergence of copilots, synthetic media, and creative tools. Large Language Models open AI opportunities to non-technical users.
🔸In 2024, the world transfers from copilots to AI Agents, delegating decision-making activities. AI moved deeper into industry-specific solutions, support scale, privacy, and performance across different verticals.
🔸In 2025, AI is a fundamental element of our lives, seriously influencing the global labour market. Software development is one of the areas that technology continues to disrupt. Not only can AI generate code, but it can also review and test code, detecting bugs and errors.
For example, P2S portfolio company Webvizio offers a platform to report and fix bugs in seconds with AI.
It accelerates web development by transforming simple product feedback into detailed bug reports and AI-ready prompts
This allows AI coding tools to address the issue more accurately and debug and implement changes in seconds.
Places to Meet Your Future Investor: Pre-Seed to Succeed Agenda
The best way to meet an investor is to go to the place where they actually show up - like Pitch&Drink!
On May 12, Pre-Seed to Succeed hosted Pitch&Drink in San Francisco, the first event in the 2025 series, and what a night it was!
It was an absolute pleasure meeting live with the founders of our portfolio companies, Slava Akulov from Jupid, Leonid Nekhymchuk from datuum.ai, and Danis Nova from Boost.Express.
datuum.ai found their investor in one of the previous Pitch&Drinks. So make sure to follow our agenda and get a chance to find your investor over a drink!
During our trip, we had the opportunity to catch up with the Navi team, a P2S portfolio company and the most advanced aviation AI. A big thank you to the team for their warm welcome and for the great product they’re building. At P2S, we’re proud to be part of your journey.

AI is the new electricity ⚡️
Citing Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist at Salesforce, “electricity of the 21st century”, and we can’t agree more. Three years have passed since Chat GPT was launched, and AI is no longer a novelty or competitive edge. But unlike the metaverse, it won’t end in the “death valley”. AI is to become a default layer of product functionality.
In 2025, investors pay extra attention to the technical depth and market relevance of AI solutions, betting on:
Agent frameworks: Startups building infrastructure to power AI agents - task routing, decision memory, multi-agent coordination.
Notable early-stage players: AutonomyAI, HoneyHive, Ammo AI
AI-powered vertical SaaS: Domain-specific tools for industries like law, real estate, education, or healthcare, embedding AI natively.
Notable early-stage players: Resolv, Lexroom AI, Volta
Enterprise AI platforms: Internal copilots for knowledge management, team workflows, or secure document querying, that use private corporate data.
Notable early-stage players: Noxus AI, datuum.ai, Fusebase, Needle
As investors focused on AI solutions, we carefully examine every application that falls into our form on the website. Every startup is analysed according to the following criteria:
If you believe your startup follows these criteria, make sure to send your application to the Pre-Seed to Succeed program below:
